When a submission is signed up with a future release date, your release will not be made available with our partners before that date. Amazon and YouTube Music will both put up basic pages with "expected release date" information, but will not have any further functionality. Soundrop also offers digital pre-order for all content with a future release date to Amazon and iTunes.
To guarantee that your project is made available on the set release date we recommend submitting all materials to us at least one month in advance of the date.
We deliver releases immediately after they've been licensed (which can take approximately 7-10 days from signup). After all tracks are licensed and delivered to our partners, it typically takes 2-5 days to go live on their sites!
Both previous and "ASAP" release dates will have your content go up as quickly as it's delivered and ingested by our partners. Please note that previous release dates require already having a barcode.
Release Date Changes
When signing up for a project to be released on a specific date, we strongly suggest looking at how long our process takes when selecting a release date. Changing the release date can be done manually for your upcoming release if its status is 'In Delivery' or 'Live' on the various music stores. If the project is processing then you'll need to reach out to submit a request to our support team to make the update. Please bear in mind that release date changes cannot be guaranteed within two weeks of the original or new release date.
