How to Enter/Update Payment Information
You can easily enter and/or update your payment information in your account at any time! Here’s how:
- Log into your Soundrop account.
- Find and click on the “Account” link in the left-side column.
- At the top of the page, you will see two tabs: “Account” and “Payout Preferences.” Click on “Payout Preferences” to switch to this tab.
- Under the section titled “Payee Info,” please confirm your name and contact information.*
- Under the section titled “Payment Preference,” select the preferred method of payment and supply payment details.
- Click “Save” at the bottom right of the page before returning to your dashboard view.
*This section also contains text fields for “Tax ID Number” and “VAT Number.” These are optional for your records and are not required by Soundrop.
Currently, Soundrop offers payment via Paypal or bank check.
The minimum payment threshold (amount at which your account balance will pay out to you) is set at $20.00. The payment threshold and currency type are not currently editable.
What if I didn’t receive a payment that was issued to me?
First, please follow the above steps to ensure that your payment information is correct and up-to-date before your payment can be re-issued.
If your payment was issued via bank check:
We can re-issue your check after 30 days have passed. If 30 days have passed and you still have not received your check, please contact Soundrop using the following form and selecting "Earnings Question"

If your payment was issued via PayPal:
If your PayPal payment was not successfully deposited into your PayPal account, these funds should be automatically returned to your Soundrop account balance within 30 days.
If the funds are successfully returned to your Soundrop account, you will receive these funds in the following month’s payout.
If you do not see your payment returned to your Soundrop account balance after 30 days, please contact Soundrop support using the following form and selecting "Earnings Question"
