How to set up or update your payment and tax information

To receive payments from Soundrop, you need to add a payout method and complete a tax form in your Soundrop account. You can update your payout method at any time.

Add or update your payout method

1. Log in to your Soundrop account.
2. Select Account from the menu on the left.
3. Select the Payout Info tab.
4. Under Payee Info, select the option to add a payout method.
   1. If you already have a payout method, select the pencil icon to edit it or add another method.
   2. If you have more than one payout method, Soundrop will send payments to the method marked ACTIVE.
5. Enter your contact information.
6. Select your preferred payment method and enter the required information.
7. Save your changes.

Whenever possible, add or update your payout method at least one week before the payout date.

Complete your tax information

After adding your payment information, you will be prompted to complete your tax information under Complete a Tax Form. A completed tax form is required to receive payments from Soundrop.

Can I update a tax form I've already submitted?

You cannot edit a previously submitted W-8 or W-9 form. If your information changes, submit a new tax form instead. Submitting a new form will void your previous tax form.

When will I receive my payment?

Once you have added valid payment information, completed your tax information, and reached your payment threshold, your balance will be eligible for payment during the next applicable payout cycle — which is typically on or before the 15th of every month.
