SWIFT wire transfers
SWIFT wire transfers have higher fees than other payout methods.
After payment fees and any applicable tax withholding are deducted, at least $20 USD must remain for a SWIFT wire payment to be issued.
If you use SWIFT wire transfer, we recommend setting your payment threshold to at least $45.
What is the minimum payment threshold?
Your payment threshold determines how much your Soundrop balance must reach before a payment is issued. The default threshold is $20 USD. You can set a custom threshold between $20 USD and $1,000 USD. The currency used for your payment threshold cannot be changed.
How to change your payment threshold
- Log in to your Soundrop account.
- Select Account.
- Open the Account Info tab.
- Scroll to Payout Preferences.
- Find Min. payout threshold.
- Enter an amount between $20 and $1,000 USD.
- Save your changes.
Payment restrictions for some regions
- Soundrop is currently unable to send payments to people in Russia, Belarus, the Donbas regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, and the regions of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson in Ukraine.
- Payments to other regions of Ukraine may experience significant delays.
- Currency conversion to UAH, RUB, and BYN is also currently unavailable through Soundrop's banking partners. Affected payment routes use USD SWIFT wire transfers instead.
- To receive these payouts where supported, you will need a USD account and SWIFT account number.
- USD SWIFT wire transfers have a $25 fee per payment, so consider setting a higher payment threshold to reduce the impact of payment fees.
