Soundrop accepts WAV and FLAC audio files. For standard audio, your file should be:
- WAV or FLAC
- 44.1 kHz sample rate
- 16-bit or higher
Soundrop also accepts certain high-resolution audio files.
What high-resolution audio does Soundrop accept?
You can upload WAV or FLAC files using these sample rates and bit depths:

What audio files aren't accepted?
Soundrop can't accept:
- floating-point WAV files;
- spatial or immersive audio files; or
- FLAC files with embedded MJPEG streams.
Your audio must also contain the full track and must not cut off abruptly. Soundrop does not deliver single-track releases with audio shorter than 30 seconds.
Which music platforms accept high-resolution audio?
The following platforms currently accept audio above 16-bit/44.1 kHz:
- Amazon
- Anghami
- Apple Music
- Facebook and Instagram
- NetEase
- Qobuz
- Tencent
- TIDAL
- TikTok
For other music platforms, your audio will be encoded as needed to meet the platform's audio requirements. You don't need to upload separate audio files for different platforms.
