Your cover art must meet the following requirements to be accepted by Soundrop and music platforms.
Cover art file requirements
Your cover art must:
- Be a PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF, JPG, or JPEG file.
- Use the RGB color space.
- Be at least 1400 x 1400 pixels. We recommend 3000 x 3000 pixels.
- Be square, with the same width and height.
- Be no more than 50 megapixels or 10 MB.
- Not be stretched, upscaled, or appear low-resolution.
Cover art content requirements
Your cover art:
- Must match the release title and artist name entered for your release.
- Must not include a barcode or QR code.
- Must not include website addresses, social media links, or contact information.
- Must not include sexually explicit imagery.
- Must not include a third-party logo or trademark unless you have express written permission from the trademark holder.
- Must not include “EP” unless the release meets Soundrop's EP guidelines.
