Sales Reports / Your Account Statement
Soundrop processes sales reports and creates an account statement snapshot at the beginning of each month before issuing payments in the middle of that month.
When your balance reaches the payment threshold you have selected (minimum of $20.00), we’ll automatically send a payment via the method you have saved in your account for that month's statement. If you need help updating your payout method, click here. You must also have valid tax forms on file in order to get paid.
Your monthly statement reflects transactions from the following previous months' sales:
- 1-2 months: iTunes / Apple Music (downloads + streaming)
- 2-3 months: Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music (streaming)
- 3-6 months: Deezer (streaming), Amazon (downloads + streaming)
Once your statement has been emailed, payments will follow within 1-2 days.

Russia/Ukraine
We are currently unable to send payments to people in Russia, Belarus, the Donbas regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, and the regions of Zaporzhzhia and Kherson in Ukraine. We will continue to process payments to all other regions of Ukraine for as long as we are able, but there may be extreme delays.
Our banking partners have also suspended currency conversion to UAH (Ukrainian hryvnia), RUB (Russian Ruble), and BYN (Belarusian Ruble); all of those routes will now use USD Swift Wire.
A USD account and SWIFT account number will need to be set up in your artist account in order to receive payouts. Please note: Fees in this case are much higher than other payment methods ($25 per payment) so we suggest setting a minimum payout of $45 - $65.

Mechanical Royalty Rates
* New mechanical royalty rates went into effect on January 1, 2023 due to a ruling passed by the Copyright Royalty Board.
This ruling increased the U.S. mechanical royalty rate from 9.1 cents to 12 cents per track.
Meaning a 12 cent mechanical royalty fee will be removed from each US download sale of a cover song.
This fee comes out of your Soundrop earnings each month.
Payments will be issued if you have reached your payment threshold, provided payment information, and completed the tax form in your account.
