Soundrop processes payments each month. If your available balance has reached your payment threshold and your payment and tax information are complete, we'll automatically send your payment using the payment method saved to your account.
What do I need to get paid?
To receive a payment, you must:
- have a balance that meets your selected payment threshold;
- have a valid payment method saved to your account; and
- have valid tax information on file.
The minimum payment threshold is $20. You do not need to request a payment once you meet these requirements. Eligible payments are sent automatically.
When does Soundrop send payments?
Soundrop creates an account statement at the beginning of each month and issues eligible payments around the middle of the month.
Once your monthly statement has been emailed to you, your payment will usually be issued within 1–2 days.
If you need to change your payment method, make the change at least one week before the scheduled payout.
When will my sales appear in my account statement?
Music platforms report sales and streams to Soundrop on different schedules. This means earnings usually appear in your account several months after the original stream or sale.
Typical reporting times include:
- Apple Music and iTunes: 1–2 months
- Pandora, Spotify, and YouTube Music: 2–3 months
- Amazon and Deezer: 3–6 months
These are reporting timeframes, not payment processing times. For example, a stream from this month may not appear in your Soundrop balance until a future month's statement.
Where can I see my earnings and statements?
You can review your account statements and transactions from your Soundrop account.
