Content Review/Inspection (Status: )
5-7 business days. This is the time it takes for our team to review your release. We always recommend selecting a release date of at least 6 weeks, but no more than 2 years, from the date you submit for distribution to allow enough time to promote your music and ensure your release date is honored.
Please note: Any time you make changes to your release, it takes it out of the inspection queue and puts it at the back of the line.
Licensing (Status: )
2-3 business weeks. This status only applies if you have a cover song to be licensed by Soundrop. This is how long it can take for us to clear your cover song and obtain the license. Well-known compositions are typically cleared in less time.
Delivery to Music Stores and Social Media Platforms
(Status: )
1-5 business days after approval. This is how long it can take for music stores to process and ingest your content after we've delivered it to them. Remember, they will honor your release date if its in the future.
Changes after delivery
1-3 business days. If you submit an update or change for a release after it's already been delivered, this is how long it may take to see that change reflected on music stores.
Claim YouTube Official Artist Channel
3-4 business weeks. This is how long it can take to claim your YouTube OAC once you've submitted a request to us.
Takedowns/Cancellations (Status: )
Up to 30 days. It can take up to 30 days for a release to be removed from music stores. If it's been over 30 days, please submit a request to let us know.
