If you have unpaid, unfinished releases or tracks that you no longer want to see on your dashboard, you can delete these yourself from within your account!
Eligibility
To delete a track, it must:
- Be unpaid
- Have no ISRC assigned
- Have no associated cover song licenses
For a release to be deleted, it must:
- Be unpaid
- Have no UPC assigned
- Have not been delivered
Tracks and releases that aren't eligible to be deleted won't have the delete option available.
Deleting Tracks
From "My Music:"
1. Open your "My Music" tab from the sidebar.
2. Click on the "Tracks" tab at the top of the page.
3. Select 1 or more tracks to delete, then select “Delete” from the dropdown Options menu.
4. Confirm your choice in the pop-up that reads "Are you sure you want to delete? This action cannot be undone.”
5. If any of the selected tracks are not eligible for deletion, you will see the message: "Some of the selected tracks cannot be deleted. Do you want to proceed with deleting eligible tracks? This action cannot be undone.”
From Track Details:
1. On the track details page, any eligible track will show the option to "Delete Track."
2. Selecting this option opens the confirmation pop up: “Are you sure you want to delete?” This action cannot be undone.”
3. This option will not be available if the track is ineligible for deletion.
Deleting Releases
From "My Music:"
1. Open your "My Music" tab from the sidebar.
2. Click on the "Releases" tab at the top of the page.
3. Select 2 or more releases to delete, then select “Delete” from the dropdown Options menu.
4. Confirm your choice in the pop up that reads "Are you sure you want to delete? This action cannot be undone."
5. If any of the selected releases are not eligible for deletion, you will see the message: "Some of the selected releases cannot be deleted. Do you want to proceed with deleting eligible releases? This action cannot be undone.”
From Release Overview:
1. Navigate to the release overview of the release you want to delete.
2. Click the "Options" dropdown menu, and select "Delete Release."
3. Confirm your choice in the pop up that reads “Are you sure you want to delete?” This action cannot be undone.”
4. If the release is not eligible to be deleted, the option will not appear in the dropdown.
