Soundrop may temporarily lock your account if we need you to resolve an issue before you can continue submitting releases.
If your account is locked, check your email for a message from Soundrop explaining the issue and any action you need to take.
Why was my account locked?
One reason your account may be locked is if a release has been resubmitted multiple times without the required changes.
Soundrop may also lock an account if we need to review an issue related to your account, releases, or our Usage Guidelines.
What should I do if my account is locked?
1. Check your email
Look for an email from Soundrop, particularly from our Content Approval team. The email may explain why your account was locked and what you need to do next.
Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox.
2. Review Soundrop's Usage Guidelines
Review our Usage Guidelines and any instructions included in the email you received from Soundrop.
If the lock is related to a release, make sure you understand the changes required before resubmitting it.
3. Contact Soundrop Support
To request help with a locked account:
- Submit a request to Soundrop Support.
- Select General Support.
- Choose Unlock my account from the menu.
- Include any relevant information about the issue or the email you received from Soundrop.
Our Support team can review the issue, explain any required next steps, and help restore access when the issue has been resolved.
Is your release locked instead?
An account lock is different from a release showing as Locked. If you can access your Soundrop account but a specific release is locked, see Why is my release locked? for more information.
